·        Please remember your music for each lesson.

·        Please make a copy of your music for me.

·        Bring a pencil if you can.

·        Bring a bottle of water.

·        Practice for 10-30mins everyday if you can!

·        Feel free to tape-record your lesson.

·        Feel free to invite friends/family to listen to you for the final 10/15mins of your lesson.

·        Part of your lesson should involved listening to some music so bring something along if you want!

Exams

I follow the syllabus for Trinity Guildhall singing exams.  The following entry prices are for each exam regardless of the candidate’s age. Prices may change each year. Trinity does not offer any concessions.

Accompanists

On the day of the exam you will need a professional accompanist. I like to use my friend Suzie Shrubb who is an excellent pianist and teacher. For the exam plus a 30min rehearsal before the day Suzie will charge £20.

Exam Days

On an exam day I will be there to help warm you up and prepare. A £5 payment to me is appreciated on exam days to cover my costs.
